I purchased live ladybugs from Amazon and they ate them right up!! I have an indoor tower with lights and the ladybugs stay in the room with the tower for the most part. Purchased 1,500 of them for under $10.

Petco doesn’t know what they’re talking about. Koi need a lot of space to grow, and 20 gallons is way too small. The standard rule for fish is “one inch of fish per 10 gallons of water.” Even goldfish need that same type of space, and most fish also need sunlight. Best to come up with a different plan!

There are actually two Tower Garden farms on the USC campus. One is the teaching garden behind the Radisson and the other is at the EVK dining hall. These were build by LA Urban Farms and the major driver on the project was USC Executive Chef Eric Ernest. Check them out!
