What should I look for when purchasing seedlings?
Inspect seedlings very carefully. Buy only perfectly formed leaves with no evidence of bug presence. If damaged leaves are present, those plants have likely received a spray and there's no way to know if it's an organic pesticide. Ask how old the plants are. You should be planting a 3—4 week-old seedling. You can plant slightly older, but younger than 3 weeks is too young.
