As a continuation of our earlier discussion on this topic, you would not thin-out "bunching" / clustering sprouts like chives.
Always (always) wait until your see roots exiting the rockwool starter plug before placing the seedling in the TG.
Should I sow more seeds for cluster plants like Chives and Scallions?
I used the general rule for seeding my rockwool that I believe I saw joe write up.
Small seeds, like lettuce, place 8-10 seeds
Larger seeds, cilantro, tomatoes peppers - plant 2-4.

Hi dniezby, 10 or so seems about right for Chives / Scallions. It's not an exact science... Start there and tweak it until it works best for you.
