Hi yakekimb, It really depends on the plant... For example, lettuce types that form a head and larger flowering / fruiting plants such as tomato should be thinned to 1 plant per rockwool starter plug. Avoid thinning until after spouts have produced their first true leaves.
Thank you, yakekimb, for asking this question! joed, I planted the recommended seeds as per the growing guide, and never thinned down the seedlings because I thought we were supposed to keep them all. My plants are all way past the first true leaves stage, and some are pretty mature. At this point, would you recommend that I cut down the excess plants, or just leave them for this growing season?
