The costs for annual operation of a Tower Garden can depend on several factors, such as what you are growing, indoor or outdoor, and exactly which costs you need to account for (i.e. electricity, time/labor, seeds, nutrients, etc.)
Electricity should be very low, along the lines of any household appliance. Seeds are also very inexpensive and available at garden stores, and there are even annual seed swap events in many cities. You can also seed save from some plants.
Nutrients will most likely be the largest cost, and I would plan to use roughly 2-3 gallons a year, especially if you grow large fruiting and flowering crops in the summer months.
Hope that helps! Happy growing!
Thanks so much Kym
