    Personal Tip on Water Level

Thought I would share a little discovery today on checking your water level.

If you have a wooden paint stir stick you can check your water level.

Take a tape measure and measure 10" from the bottom and draw a line across the stick. That 10" line is 20 gallons of water in the US reservoir.

The nice thing about this method is that I know precicely how much water I'm lower. Every 1/2" is one gallon low.

To test your water, simply open the lid and insert the stick parallel to the back edge of the reservoir opening. Make sure the stick is straight to the bottom. If you're below the 10" line, you will know how much water to add.

      Pretty neat little trick huh?
